Why can’t we all live our lives, in harmony and love,
sharing all our dreams, our hopes and aspirations.
Removing all the barriers, the obstacles and fences,
that stop us from seeing each other’s consternation’s.
Instead we build our barriers, ever stronger, ever wider,
our obstacles made trickier, our fences growing higher.
Until we only see, our own troubles, worries and cares,
leaving all the rest alone, to think fretfully of theirs.
All of us have got to learn, to look after one another,
no matter if it be a stranger, or our own kid brother.
We all have to play our part, to reach our destination,
so let’s unite, win the fight, whatever our situation.
